Treatment & Training

Treatment approaches will vary on your goals, diagnosis, and impairments but will typically include a combination of:

  • Manual therapy, such as joint and soft tissue mobilization, manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, and manual stretching

  • Neuromuscular re-education, such as proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), postural alignment and control exercises, core stabilization, and balance training

  • Therapeutic exercise, including muscle conditioning for endurance, hypertrophy, strength, and/or power, cardiovascular training, and flexibility training

The recommended frequency of private sessions will depend on your diagnosis, stage of healing and/or training, and personal goals. More is not always better, and my goal is for your private sessions to enhance your quality of life, not interfere with it. For clients who travel or have inconsistent schedules, I also offer concierge services for phone/text consultations.

  • Body mechanics and ergonomic assessment to ensure that the activities you do regularly are not predisposing you to injury or chronic pain

  • Bandaging, taping, bracing, and physical modalities such as low level light therapy to augment healing and pain relief

  • Instruction of a comprehensive home exercise/training program

  • Education and counseling on tissue healing, biomechanics, neuroplasticity and motor learning, exercise periodization, sports nutrition, and other areas of interest to you.
